Application Process

We are very excited that you are interested in JDOHSS and we are happy to share our Admissions process with you.


Applying is easy using our Online Application! It also provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of your admission after your application has been submitted. Follow the steps below and begin the JDOHSS experience!

STEP 2: Meet the Menahel and Visit the School

eeting the Menahel to ensure that JDOHSS is the right place for your family is the first step in our Admission process. At this time we can’t invite you to come in for a visit but we can share with you our Torah values, loyalty to our Tradition,and drive for Excellence. Pre K Classroom -

STEP 3: Complete our online application and submit application fee

Once you have decided that JDOHSS is the school for you we will be happy to provide you with a link to create a New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application. Feedback will be provided throughout the process to help you complete the application. A yellow caution sign will appear in the menu next to forms that are missing required information, a green check mark will appear next to the form's menu item. You can review the entire application at any time by selecting the Application Review item on the left menu. From here, you will also be able to print a PDF of the application in its current state. Your application will be complete once a payment has been received by our financial office.

STEP 4: Submit supplemental documents

If you have not already submitted the required documents with your online application, then please submit the following to ◦Birth Certificate ◦Copy of Citizenship or Immigration Documents, if born outside of Canada ◦Two Most Recent Report Cards (if applicable) ◦OHIP Card ◦Immunization Records ◦Recent Passport Photo Size Pictures of the Student ◦Professional Academic and/or Psychological Assessment Reports, if applicable

STEP 6: Enrollment

After receiving acceptance notification, parents will be provided information necessary to complete the admissions process by email and to arrange tuition with our financial office.

STEP 5:  Notification of acceptance

You will receive notification by email about your child’s acceptance to JDOHSS.
